Noise measurements at dwellings
In the context of BOUWBeSLUIT there are several noise regulations for dwellings. It concerns among others the air noise insulation between dwellings and contact noise insulation. There are also regulations for installation noise and outside noise. We now often experience that the application of a heat pump can lead to noise complaints.
With new constructions one must show beforehand by means of facilities that the regulations of the bouw besluit can be met.

It is a pity that today practically no measurements are performed to assess if the contractor has done which is mentioned in the reports and if he has executed them correctly. Formerly one in twenty dwellings were checked by the environmental service or the engineering department of the municipality.
