More supervision in construction through the regulations quality control (wkb)
Residents and users want buildings of good quality. For instance with an adequate fire safety system and low energy consumption. The government want more supervision and checks in construction so that builders will comply with the current quality standards.
The regulations quality control for construction (Wkb) is going to take care of this.
The new system first goes for the buildings in the lowest risk classification. These are for example family housing and simple commercial premises.
The gives all concerned the chance to gain experience with the procedures for the supervision in construction.
Later also more complicated constructions will need the expertise of an independent quality controller so the expertise and experience that we have already with fire safety, sprinkler installations and the like, will come in handy.
